American Robin
Robins are very common in southwest Missouri. Even though we talk about robins coming back to our area in the spring, they are here year-round.
Robins have a kind of “chip-chip-chip-chip” call, and can also sing a very sweet song. I seem to hear the chip call a lot during hot summer days, and the songs more in the late evening.
